Following years of success, the brokerage was acquired by Sotheby’s International Real Estate, where Chris continued refining his expertise in high-end representation. He then spent two years with Compass, gaining firsthand insight into large-scale brokerage models and the industry’s rapid shift toward technology and volume-based strategies.
Over time, a clear issue emerged: the luxury sector was being diluted. Many prestigious brands had been absorbed by corporate conglomerates, reducing their focus on true highend representation and operating with minimal market share in the luxury segment. The industry’s broad, one-size-fits-all approach left discerning clients underserved.
In response, Chris founded One Luxury International, a national brand intentionally built to restore exclusivity, precision, and purpose to the upper tier of the market. One Luxury focuses solely on properties priced at $1 million and above where excellence is expected and the margin for error is nonexistent.
Today, The Christensen Group is the exclusive affiliate of One Luxury in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, with elite team members strategically positioned in each of Florida’s three largest cities.
